The Cobra Daytona Coupe chassis was developed to be presented as it is without bodywork. It was hand made using original drawings and photographs for all different parts in order to keep the scale model as close as possible to the chassis of the real racing car. All the pieces making up that frame were soldered together in a very precise mounting order. I have chosen to use noble material to make this scale model everlasting; therefor the main frame and all parts of the suspension are made from solid brass. For reasons of wear resistance, the axles are made of steel. The hub carrier and brake disks are in aluminum and the brake calipers of tin. The whole chassis is made at 1/8 scale with a very high precision.
